So, I own a shop, but for some reason get a bunch of odd ball work at home.
The guy that delivers my oil and propane's been watching me build all the crap here. He also likes IH's and has been trying to get War Pig Version 12 from me for a year now.
I am now building his 79 Scout 2.
I've been looking for a Cummins R2.8L and 6l80E kit to drop into it, but it's on national back order. He wants this going by end of June...
So this thing may get a Gm 8.1L (weighs as much as the current v8), 4L80E and NP205 on Holley Dominator X EFI.
He wants a nice driver.
I have a Jeep 3/4T Dana 60-2 for it, getting all the goodies, including a set of JK disk brakes.
The front 44 will get a mix of Dana 44 parts to net bigger brakes, internal splined hubs, etc.
Adding hydroboost, American Auto Wiring Harness, Vintage Air, stainless brake hoses and lines, a 25g fuel tank, etc.
It's getting dropped here, at my house, this coming Wednesday.
