Might want to use longer links that what is in that picture.

Sorry, the name Bug Ugly's already been taken.

Here's a photo from shortly after getting it home. swapped on the military surplus tires first thing just to get the tires matching.

A old body work friend of mine helped me put this Pete hood ornament on the truck. one of the photos shows the truck with the wheels it had when I bought it.

The truck runs a Impco model E heat exchanger/vaporizer/regulator. When I got the truck it worked but not particularly smooth. Additionally the truck smelled like well propane so I tore it apart and cleaned it. Nash propane had a rebuild kit for it off eBay ($50). I now have it cleaned up and back on the truck. I will have to snag a photo of it as it sits today. Its currently back off the truck on my desk, seams I did something wrong on how the secondary is set.

neat truck man thats cool, love the IH body style. Ill have to find my file of the logo I had done.

Tore the hubs apart, pressed new studs and rotors on. Did races, bearings and seals while I was there. Also replaced the locking hubs with WARN models.

Painted the frame with Duplicolors frame paint while it was off. Its a lot like POR15 but this spread a little easier. Just did a wash and fog on the bottom of the bed too.

Pulled these old headers off of the 400 that is in the truck. ends are trashed so went to FLOTech headers. Note- flotech fit but they do need some work to make fit on a f250 4x4 frame.

The cab of Big Ugly was not originally 4x4 or manual, so some one had cut a hole in the floor and wood screwed it down. I drilled all the holes out and used a Rivnut gun to give the sheet metal some threads to bite to. Disco hardware also makes panel clips that would work. (I used them for the fenders and will look up my part numbers)

Daily drive it and weekend wheel it. Plus I use it for my auto parts store to show some of the stuff I sell.
Cool.
What is high level plan to achieve?

Just fixing mechanical stuff? or redo suspension, engine, thornbirds and headers thru the hood?

I have already done the suspension, rough country lift, so from here just make it more reliable. I just did a trade for a set of axles. dana 70 and a dana 80. That will eventually gone in along with a 203 doubler on the front of the 205 I have in it. Eventually I will rebuild the motor or swap in something a little bigger. I do have an extra 460 sitting around haha. It does have mid run headers on it now and the entire electrical system has been replaced.

I think you need to look at Rattle Snake's build to understand where he's coming from...

Im following it now. It putting my thread to shame! I need to sit down and do a better write up of each component with part numbers and all.

I'm down with the dentside SC wheelers - BTW, Running Superduty springs up front will offer more options & better ride...
