A mild body lift is common on EBs, my 71 had a 351 with lightning lower, cobra upper, a fiberglass scoop, 2" body lift and still made a shiny rub mark

Nobody will judge you for a body lift on an eb

One of the better mods I did to my EB was swapping in a WH integrated 1" BL. With the fresh bushings, plus the 1" BL it is more like 1.25" lift. Way easier to work own things and just more room in general.
