So my #3 son wants to drive my Bronco to High School for his Senior year just like #2 did now and then.
So we spent the evening flushing the radiator and charging the battery. Drove it around the neighborhood to make sure it was good to go.
With a detroit in the rear I cautioned him about accelerating/decelerating in a turn and tire pressured and what not. I'm keeping my fingers crossed but know I have taught him well. But still , it's my Bronco that I've owned for 26 years. My Baby in my Baby.
Took this pic tonight after we drove it around the neighborhood.

Aw shit, I was looking for a photo of #3 Boy in my Bronco when he was younger but found this one instead. Man O man time flies. Yesterday he was in a bouncy chair , today he wants to drive my Bronco to school.
Never mind, whatever.. my allergies are acting up, I gotta go.

I think it's pretty awesome that in the digital age, where kids seem to only be interested in fortnite or minecraft, that they're into old 4x4s. You must have done something right!

My son is just turned 15 and cars and girls are getting more interesting. He wants to drive my carb'd, manual, locked yota on bias 37s to school. It's a handful for me on the street and I am used to it might be awhile before I hand him the keys to that. Its a scary thought having your kids out on the road. But just think your son we be in one of the coolest rides in the parking lot. They do grow up fast. Guess that means I am getting old.

My daughter, now 23 has helped me build my EB since she was 5. She loves it and claims it as hers:lmao:

She drives it around every once in a while, but it is a handful. Once I get the suspension dialed, I'll have no problems with her bee bopping around in it. It's just a bit much right now with the half Lane jump any major bumb.:eek:

When I was 16 (..........18 years ago) I started building my first Samurai. When the highways were icy and there was a crosswind it would go down the road with the back end kicked out... The lunchbox locker was always predictable until rarely it would bang and change lanes for you when you're going straight down the road. I don't know how you get someone used to something like that now without just letting them at it. Modern trucks give you no feedback through the road whereas with old junk it seems like you can tell exactly which minute throttle position change will get the back end to kick out or lock the locker up on pavement to get the tire to chirp. Anyway congrats about the kids, at least they are taking interest.

Make sure he knows how much it's worth now, and you value the bronco more than him!

Banging the chicks in the backseat :smokin:

an early bronco was my first car and no chicks liked it.... this was like 2008 or so before the bronco hype

and yes i know im young (at least for this crowd)

tell you what i got alot of old guys stopping me asking about the truck tho :laughing:
wAAACH5BAEKAAAALAAAAAABAAEAAAICRAEAOw==

i thought i had the coolest truck till i pulled into the high school parking lot, then i realized only me, my dad and his buddies thought it was cool :lmao:

There was this kid that worked out at my gym, big fucker, linebacker or DE or something for Sacramento State, and his girlfriend was like 5'0 and 105lbs. He drove an open EB all year long, and when they'd come to the gym in winter, he'd put her in a sleeping bag in the passenger seat and belt her in...except this one time he forgot and she spilled out the side in a 15mph corner and was not amused. :laughing:
