ive got this ole ranchero,
sitting on a 89 F350 chassis.

recently took it to the rubicon, and....
i flopped it.
only real damage was the caved in pass side 1/4

well, replacing 1/4', making the bed separate, or trying to pull the 1/4 out, would roughly be the same
amount of work.

but now im having thoughts of building a flat bed behind the cab.
and taking the parts 1/4's i have, and mounting them to the flatbed, so they would be removeable.

im also going to be doing some sort of cage soon....

what would you do?

Idi swap it
hay bud
when ya score the red donor?
$500 score from sac at the beginning of last week!
couldnt pass it up. rotted floors, but i got lots of parts for the wifes 62, including 5 lug stuff, grille, and some other odds and ends.

but primarily, for the bed on my 63

For the car club peeps, a club/ extra cab, separate bed with flush mount toolbox.
for the trail, flatbed.
Flatbed with factory 1\4 ers for the win.

Pound it mostly out, then make a guard for it.
I think making a flat bed would take a lot of 'cool' out of that.

i would like to give it a paint job, just a single stage acrylic enamel. nothing special

i like the patina, but its been like this for the past 6 yrs, kind of over it.

i do drive this on the street, i own many customs.
i cant "just leave it"
i need to move forward and keep making it better.

im pretty sold on a flatbed and removeable 1/4's with a decent cage over the cab.

pull em off to go wheelin, and i wont have to vag foot it anymore!

disassembly is done minus a few other little pieces i need to pull off...
then commence to cutting
