60 grain 22lr

I got a couple boxes of Aguila 60 grain 22lr. Would I be stupid to shoot it suppressed out of a 4.5 inch barrel? I highly doubt it will stabilize. Silencerco will warranty stupid once but I’d rather not risk it.

It’s been awhile since I’ve shot it at a target but IIRC it stabilizes fine in a 20” rifle.

I can also tell you it puts the absolute smack down on animals that can soak up high velocity .22 rounds and take off.

Shoot it at a paper target and see what the holes look like before you put the can on.

Mine would stablize out of my mk2 ruger with around that length barrel. Function was mixed, generally worked. Just test fire them without the can first.

I only have 2 boxes. I doubt it will cycle. I ran some Winchester subsonic through it. Velocity is 1065 out of those I believe. I did have to reset the trigger manually several times.
