6.7 Super Duty Maintenence/Mods

You probably won't have any trouble. Pickups don't freeze up nearly as quickly as big trucks. Everything is insulated tucked up under the bed or hood.

Biggest worry is leaving it sit for a few days, then trying to start it in 0 degree temps. That is when you need worry about your fuel.
it sits for days at a time. maybe a week or more.

that i do do... and plug it in too, but that has nothing to do with the fuel. but i do
Just FYI

0 Degrees here in Central Iowa today,

This is the first time we had trouble with a truck running straight No. 2

Everything with treated fuel still running just fine.

Just my opinion is still all snake oil.
My opinion agrees, to a point.

It’s not entirely snake oil in my experience.

The power service fuel treatment and/or 5W-40 motor oil made a noticeable difference with cold start, and that’s about it.

5W-40 made it to turn over faster, therefore faster start up.

Power service made it to readily fire up instead of just crank-crank-crank, probably due to “cetane booster”.

I needed either or both in my truck because, at the time with its original motor, was having severe blowby so I needed all help I can get to get it to start in very cold weather. I had to use starting fluid if I did not use one or both “snake oil” despite plugged in. FWIW.
