Uninformed
I have a 2016 Ram with about 110k on it that has been bulletproof until yesterday. She sat for about 2 weeks and acquired a constant lifter tick when I finally cranked it up yesterday. It would occasionally tick a couple of times if it sat for a few days, but now it won't go away
So, MDS delete. Yay.
I'm looking for the highest quality and most complete kit available. Install seems straightforward enough IMO. I'm going to call around and get more info about these kits, but I'm really wanting to hear some first hand experience.
A friend recommended AMS racing that comes with a PCM exchange and a handheld to make the technology happy.
Then there is Texas Speed Performance. Parts only, Id have to have the PCM unlocked and find a way to tune it. There's a local option for that, I believe its ~$500ish
FRP Tuning has a whole kit with tuning through HP tuners.
Please share your experience, if you have any. Some suggestions that I have already received are marvel mystery oil and a for sale sign, LS Swap, and a supercharger while I'm in there. I think I'm just going to stick with the lifters and cam for now
