I ran the tractor supply sale pellets years ago.

Never again. They burned okay, but were way too ashy. I run clean burn from a Tacoma, WA plant now. You can run a 1/2 ton through the stove without cleaning.

I have a Castle Serenity stove that burns anything and been using TC pellets the past three years. I do bag by bag loading instead of forklifting the pallet onto the truck. A little more work but I can inspect the bags and decline the bad ones.

I feel the bag for soft or mushy pellets.
