Every year Tyler’s Club the Mad Hatters does a late October run out on the Rubicon, and every year there seams to be wild weather. The last few years we have had rain, and snow. This year they had crazy winds and bitter cold nights. The wind was so bad this year that the group chose to leave a night early. Jimmy and the Assistant tried to join them but Bobcat had a massive mechanical failure.

Regarding the survey that Jimmy was referencing vis-a-vis iPhone and Android users and their habits.
My group of friends and their families are probably 50/50 on device adoption.
Almost all of the iPhone users (me included) do not have the newest phones and our spending habits are anywhere from thrifty to cheap. All of my iPhone user friends have older vehicles and rigs that are paid for, living in paid for smaller and older houses. I don't know of any of them who have the latest iPhone.
Most of the Android users are getting different phones every 6 months, driving financed vehicles and in houses they can barely afford the payment for.
I've asked the question as to why people choose what they choose, and most cite "how expensive an iPhone is". I've only ever paid for 2 of the 4 I've ever gotten, I've had 4 in 10 years and the latest one I just got a year ago. My several generation old iPhones or poverty SEs just work. My friends who have iPhones, including me, get them because of that reason, and because they just don't break or have glitchy issues.
So, TYLER, in conclusion, perhaps it's just a 'west coast elitist' issue with the iPhone. I'd bet that survey that Jimmy what reading was a sample size of under 1000 and mostly on the coast(s).
