02. PO switched everything to LED lights. Been great for 5 years now.

Last week, left blinker started the fast-blink-you-need-a-bulb situation. Right blinked fine but then stopped showing the indicator on the dash.
BOTH blinkers were acting normal from inspection outside the vehicle.

Then was fine for a couple days.
Today, left is fast-blink, right is normal (dash indicator working)

LED flasher gone bad?

Do the LED bulbs have external resistors wired in? If so, ditch them and troubleshoot from there.

If not, or if you ditch the resistors and the flasher still goes nuts, then get a new LED flasher.

excellent question. I want to guess that the flasher was replaced (cheap/easy to do - did it on my tacoma), but haven't actually checked.

Swapped flasher today. Wasn’t the issue.
Bad wire connector on the front blinker lamp. Re-worked the connector and all good.

Right blinker sash indicator light still doesn’t work, but the audible indicator component does, so I’m leaving it.
