Looking for help printing a kettle bell, sized for a key chain, and having it print with lettering on either side. I can find the kettle bell design but no clue how to add lettering.

Have a Bambu P1S printer and figuring out the basic stuff.

Need it by tomorrow evening so I can print it as a gift for a friend. Will donate to your pocket book if you can help.

You can actually do this right in Bambu studio. A while back they added a text feature. Highlight the model and click the text icon in the toolbar. Type what you want then move it around on the model to where you want it. It will even curve to follow the shape of the model.
Thanks

I got this machine last black Friday and I have yet to really sit down and try anything with it. The kids find files and just print stuff. But haven't really tried editing stuff. Will give it a go in the morning.

You're going to have a problem fitting much text on a small keychain. Exactly what are you trying to print on it?

Why not post a link to the STL file you want and tell us what words you want on it, and see what we can come up with??

Here is a link to one I found that already has some text that I would remove Looking for it to say CF Minot on one side and Rose on the other.

Do you have AMS? Know how to do multicolor? Here is one side with CF MINOT embedded. I think you can paint the letters to get them to show up as a different color, otherwise, the embedded font does not look too terrible..

Working on other side now

Files sent. Let me know if you have any questions, I will try to answer

Do you prefer PrisaSlicer?

Turned out great! Thanks again. I need to learn to do this stuff.

It’s easy in PrusaSlicer, not sure about Orca, haven’t tried it yet. I know in Prusa you can add text to curved surfaces also.

I honestly just havent taken the time to try anything other than resizing. The kids keep the machine busy printing pre drawn stuf for themselves and their friends. Thought I would use it more but every time I want to print something they have some 12 hour print of a jointed shark or something :flipoff2:
