Picked up this 2nd gen “truggy” project from a buddy of mine this truck has been owned by a few buddy’s and has never been finished so I’m hoping I can finally get it out on the trail. Should be a cool little project plans as of right now are to throw my 22re that is boosted on propane in it along with my Toyota duals with a built 4.7 case it’s a totally open platform all the floors have been cut out as well as the firewall so I will have quite a bit of sheet metal work ahead of me.

too cool

i love my turbo set up also. 4.7 and 3rd gear on hills with mud seems to be my sweet spot,
with my gear ratios its 48:1 (7.17*1.45* 4.7) thats axles, tranny 3rd gear and tcase

so your intake tube is 3 inches from turbo to intake. mine i have it coming out the turbo at 2 or 2.5 i cant remember and i keep it that way till i get to the intake then i go three inches.. should i go 3 all the way, will that help or does it make that much difference?

Honestly I wouldn’t think it would make a huge difference I just did it to make sure it was all the same and look a little cleaner
