Testing the waters here. I dont really need to sell it, but I hardly ever drive it. Im a new transplant here from the 'ol washed up P4x4. Same user name if you want to do a little background search to make sure Im not a scamming dirtbag.
Basics:
2001.5 Dodge 2500 w/ 6sp
181k on the clock
s300 turbo-62/68/14
7x.0095 injectors
Turbo and injectors are from Diesel Auto Power and both went in about 5k miles ago
315 Toyo A/T with ~1000miles bought about 8mo ago.
H2 wheels
Newish NV 271 Tcase from a Ford with the fixed rear output yoke. Bought rebuilt from Tcase Xpress in Oakland maybe has 5k miles on it.
New rotors, pads all around maybe 5k miles ago.
2yr old Northstar batteries
EMS Offroad Free spin kit with 35spline outters, Warn hubs and single piece long side shaft.
Fox shocks and leveling springs from Don Thuren
Has shell that doesnt really leak and a Bedrug
Now for a little story and the not so good things.
I had maybe 175k miles on this truck with 33s and all the stock suspension. Not a single issue. It was time to sink some money on new brakes, ball joints, upgraded steering linkage, etc. This is when I changed the turbo/injectors, added the Thuren springs shocks all that good stuff. I also bought a new set of 315 BFG A/Ts. Well, after about 2wks I developed a death wobble when Id hit pot holes at about 40-50mph. I had a few people tell me it was those tires but I didnt believe them....long story short, I think it was the tires. I tried all kinds of shit but the suspension was tight. Probably could use a little more caster but I still had stock CAs. Anyway, It hasnt happend since putting the Toyos on it. But I do have all the parts to build a set of adjustable CAs using Metalcloak ends. The steering box is still factory and probably all the bushings in CAs and sway bar need replacing.
There is a Southbend Con-OFE clutch in it now that has close to 100k on it. I have a new replacement that has been in the back seat for a few years now...lol. It will slip a little if you mash on it in 5th gear.
The fuel gauge hasnt worked in years
The dash has some big ass cracks in it.
I have an Edge Comp that is not hooked up right now because I never drive it and haven been motivated to hook it back up since I had to remove it to get it smogged back in April. Getting it smogged is dicey. It passed last time but some a couple people wouldnt even try. I just went to the hood prepared to pay cash...wink wink.
I am applying for a duplicate title since I cant find the original one and for some reason the old Lien Holder is still listed. The bank that I used is no longer around so looks like some bullshit there I need to deal with.
Im open to offers, but since I likely need to list a price. $13,500
P.S. Yeah its dirty..I dont wash trucks
