I’m parting out a project from forever ago that never got finished. I bought the taco from a friend of mine in 2005 who had back-halved it to build a prerunner but never finished it. I intended to SAS it but never finished it, so here it is 16 years later. It has been stored indoors 100% of the time without exception.
Motor/Tranny- $1500 for both
2000 3RZ and A340F. I’ve never run the motor or tranny so no warranty but there should be no issue with it. Only mods are a header (I think it’s a downy), and a t100 rear sump oil pan to clear a solid axle. I don’t have the exhaust beyond the header. Engine has approximately 60000 miles on it (remember it was only 5 years old when the project was started). Engine is still in the truck.
Crawl Box/Transfer Case- $1800 for both
Installed but never run, zero miles on both units. 23 spline marlin crawl box (2.28) with adapter to A340F. Transfer case was fully rebuilt by marlin, 4.7 gears. Again, both units are older but have zero miles.
If somebody wanted the whole drivetrain I’d sell it for $2800
Wiring is still in the truck so buyer of the motor can remove as much as he wants (or take the whole truck if you want it. It’s a 2000 single cab taco, frame cut behind the cab. Nothing but cab with a hacked floor, half a frame, engine tranny crawler and case; sold as scrap, no title)
