This would be purely cosmetic as the new wheels and tires that I got don't really sit how I like in the rear. They are too inset and there are no other backspacing options that I could find on similar wheels. I thought I would be able to be meh about it since it's just a camper van but it bugs me now.

I like how the front looks. Sticks out just a bit but not needing flares. Meaty.

Rear looks like a limp dick on a cold day hiding back in there.

No first-hand real world experience myself with using spacers but I ordered some 2" for the rear but I am now wondering how this will affect my turning radius, etc.

Not going to crawl this thing but for sure 1000s of miles on highway, dirt roads, etc. Some get "2 wheel drive gnarly" but nothing too crazy. I really just don't want to lose a decent turn radius.

Any concern and I am over thinking? I don't know scrub angle and all that shit very well.

Not sure of either WMS distances either. Online has a million different answers when I googled. I'd be adding 4" overall to rear width.

get the right spacer for what your doing, hub or lug centric not the $50 Amazon/ eBay special and you'll be fine.

or get the eBay specials... you'll still probably be fine. i've ran cheap shit spacers on anything that stays around factory ratings, and the right stuff on anything that is properly abused. I've never had an issue.

I have run 1.5" Spidertrax wheel spacers on my wifes JKUR since 2017 and have never has an issue. If they are made of quality material and are installed properly you will never have a problem.

I'd personally avoid the ebay and Amazon wheel spacers as those tend to be cast & machined piles of garbage aluminum that are sketchy at best.

The eBay shit is all made out of 6061T6 drops these days. Certainly not cast.

nice you don't have the slider. I had to keep my tires tucked so it would open. lifted mine with some f150 springs that where sitting around and maxed out camber to offset it. was able to stuff 33" tires on it. with a locker and weight in the back I did some real stupid stuff in my rape shack.

iirc the vans d60 had small shafts in it. if you go for a locker get the bigger spline count (they are cheaper and easier to find) and bigger shafts at the same time. doesn't cost too much more, and the cheaper locker offsets cost a little. that and a winch fit nice behind the front bumper I used 2pcs of 3x angle to mount it and push the bumper fwd about 2" for clearance.

I kinda miss my van, I've had more vehicles than I can count but I know that I had my van longer than any other ride i've owned.

I had some 6061 T6 (claimed) aluminum dirt bike parts I bought on Ebay that I sent out to have stripped and anodized red. A few days after sending the parts in I got a call from the company telling me they wanted to send me pictures of the parts they anodized because they had never seen anything like it. I get the pictures and all the parts I had anodized red now looked camouflage in different shades of red because of the inconsistencies of the material. Guy said it looked more like pot metal that anything else and the USA made parts I sent in at the same time came out perfect. I learned a valuable lesson about Chinese so called 6061 T6 that day and don't play that game anymore.

Yeah, I want to put an air locker in it one day just in case but it's a lot of money for just in case. Lol

I put receivers front and rear and a hitch mount that will go on either so hopefully that'll get me out of whatever I get into but I may be digging an anchor point for hours too. :homer:
