For sale due to not really fitting the reasons we bought it for anymore…
7.3 Powerstroke (Navistar T444E). 2” receiver with 7 pin trailer wiring (no brake controller, I’ve never had a bumper hitch that, by weight, needed it legally, though it’s wired for it up to the front). Allison MT545 auto. Governed to 70MPH. interior mostly gutted of seats, some put back. Linoleum floor with 3/4 sturdi-floor underneath. Power inverter big enough to run the fridge and mobile heat/AC unit. Wired to plug into 30A campsite electrical hookup. Registered as an RV so cheap tags. No water or toilet installed, can do it yourself if you’d like (yes I know that to be registered as an RV it’s supposed to have that, I got ‘er done anyway, don’t ask). Use it to shoot low-budget porn. Finish it as a skoolie. Party bus, whatever. I’m done with it, but it will get where you want to go pulling 6-8000# of trailered whatever for hundreds of miles (just did that). 1500 miles on engine and transmission oil/filter/coolant change. Near new steers, decent drives. Cruise control works. No factory AC, but mobile AC can be ran driving. Heat works, has rear heat.
Will run fine using engine oil for fuel. Just completed 600 mile trip where the drive back towing the wheeling rig was probably 90/10 new 0w-20 engine oil mixed with 10% diesel. Made my trip cost $0 in fuel due to being given this oil when done with a prototype trial.
Hydraulic brakes that work well, no CDL required.
Cold-start system works good, have started it with no issues below freezing not plugged in.
Will get better pictures as soon as we get it emptied from our trip (got sick with recall-JIF-salmonella when we got back so been lazy about cleaning it out for sale). Will sell with fridge, power inverter, and heat/AC unit for my asking price. Will deliver within 1 days drive (5-600 miles, or meet you somewhere in that radius, further for extra $$) if purchased in the next month (insurance comes due in August and I am not renewing it). I will deliver it for free if you don’t mind me burning the 0w-20 for fuel, or for actual fuel cost if something about that bothers you. Yes I will write a post on here about the journey, but it will be uneventful
About 150k miles, but was a school bus so I’m certain the hours are high.
ETA: Price is negotiable, trades are possible. This is an off-road site so you know where my interests lie...
