Anyone seen them before? Found some RH through WFO concepts, but cant find a LH version. Plenty of 1.0x14 options, but not 1.0x16. Worst case, I can get some 1.5" OD .375" wall tube tapped, but would like to find adapters if possible. Any help is appreciated.

1” -16, is that some OEM spec?

Message this guy. I buy a lot of threaded inserts from them but not for links. Maybe he could machine what you need. All he has is -12 tpi stuff which I didn’t even know existed in the heim joint world.

1"-16 is a Factory TRE thread for several vehicles. WFO concepts offers the RH tube adapters, but not LH. LH taps are available, but pricey. Worst case I'll end up just getting some tube tapped locally, would be cheaper than some one off adapters i believe.
 
⬆️ what he said. Either way, you’re making a phone call. Anyone who makes RH damn sure better be able to produce LH on request. If not, fuck ‘em.

I’m sure a member would volunteer to make them for you if you’d just ask. I would but I haven’t practiced my internal threads yet. Just been turning male threads on my lathe.
 
Talked to WFO, they are in the process of designing these currently, may be some available in a few weeks possibly.

Tried Ballistic, would be a custom 1 off part requiring minimum order and added costs IF they were willing to make them.

I'll try WFO in a couple weeks again, otherwise i'll just get some tube tapped through a shop here locally.
 
Would anyone else be interested in these? Summit Machine will make them, got quoted for a dozen tube adapters and a dozen jam nuts for $691. The more we order, the more the price per piece goes down. 6-8 week lead time on them, looking to probably order next week once I determine for sure how many I want. Main reason I am after them is to use an ES3185L TRE on my tie rod. This is the same taper as the "1 ton" GM TRE's but is 1" shank vs 7/8". They are only offered in LH thread though. RH thread is what is used on the SD Drag link end, thats why its more common.
