01 f350 diesel, XL work truck trim. No cruise, no steering wheel controls at all. Airbag light is on, horn works intermittently. Figure the clockspring is the culprit. One with cruise is cheaper by $50CAD, seems to me it would just be some extra wires for the cruise, which I can tuck out of the way if need be.
Anyone able to confirm or deny my assumption?

I'm too lazy to look up clock spring prices for Superduties but I've never found a case where it wasn't cheaper to just get a whole used column than to buy a new clock spring.

Bonus points for the junkyard column is that it has any connectors you need to cover your ass in the event that things are different buried inside it.

Yes I know this doesn't answer your question. :flipoff2:

Rockauto clockapring is 150 shipped. I barely have time to sleep between an AKnate style work schedule and kid's sports, so pulling a column from a parts rig and then swapping into my truck, with the certainty of a cascade of upgrades like trying to get tilt and telescope, while abstractly appealing, is just a good way to ad to the pile of parts that I need to get to installing eventually on this truck.
