The 3rd gen ones are complete shit boxes and the 2nd gens shit out thirds like rabbits. The 1st gens are awesome but the frame rusts to dust if you get so much as arses tears splashed on them.

I like my 1st gen, but also hate parts of it and the new ones because I know they can do better

Being a former Toyota owner the right suspension has alot to do with it along with features. But honestly not worth the prices these days I really do like the 2024 Tacoma with the coil rear suspension. But fuck that price tag.

Chico Valley fire in CA some couple years ago. Dude was a nurse who made multiple trips to get people out of the hospital to safety. Toyota gave him a new truck and they are keeping that one in the show room.
