Got the front driveline in after Christmas with the family (what a tight one that was)… This afternoon i got the 1/2” sacrificial tube “sliders” on, built the cowl mounts finally, got the transmission shifter mounted and ill be putting a soft packout bag between the seats as a center console of sorts. Will be nice to be able to quickly remove it. And now that i got the shifters in it looks like ill have room for cup holders!🍻 also got the battery box mounted, some rock lights mounted, built a mount for the rear suckdown winch pulley just gotta finish panels and the firewall and tear it all apart for paint.

Well pics are all put of order but 15 cans later shes all black. Got some finish welding to do on the axle the start final assembly. Definitely glad i bought as many pannel tabs as i did from total metal innovations saved me a ton of time panneling. Cant wait to show yall the paint scheme. Clean and retro.

Got some stuff done after work… weld washers on link mounts and finish welded shock mounts on the rear axle. Got it painted. Got the trans ready to throw in. Got the fuel cell sound bar, trans cooler and rock lights bolted on for hopefully the last time. Just hoping ruff stuff gets their sterling brake kits back in stock soon

Fixed some welds on the front axle the fact that the previous owner wheeled with these lower link mount welds is alarming… got the axle painted to install tomorrow. Also started panelling the firewall.

Crunch time for my birthday run means dinner in the shop every night this week. Thankfully my best friend and neighbor is helping out with the wiring which is a huge load off my shoulders as i suck at that stuff. I got all my hydro lines ran and gotta get them crimped at work tomorrow things are definitely getting tight on this thing

Pretty bad when your rig breaks before it even goes into 4x4 axle’s previous owner way over machined the dually hubs and i shouldve caught it but it broke pulling on/off the trailer on the passenger side. But Blackfish Fabrication lent me a set of stock srw hubs so i should still be wheeling this weekend!🤞🏻

well worked on tuning some stuff charged rhe shocks with a bit more nitrogen, 10w oil filled with the shafts 3/4” out and boy what a night a day difference shouldve done that from the get but i was in too big of a rush… ran all the hard trails at reiter this weekend with zero issues. The top of devils staircase was a bit slick to get the final climb me and brandon both gave a good hard try.. there was one small section of kaboom we didnt hit either as there was a few trees downed and the two of us left of the group didnt have a saw.. will be pulling my case to fix the tranny fluid leak at my case adapter hopefully have it ready for another sunday funday… also look for my new super duty build in the tow rig or ford section whatever there is i gotta look😂
