Vehicles I used to own and maybe would like to have back

I have had over 100 cars & trucks so I have too many that I would like to have back but this one always comes up when talking with my wife. We both loved the truck but timing was bad as I was looking for a house at the time so it left to bulk up the bank account for a down payment. 1979 is my favorite year and I always seem to have a thing for GMC's. Drivetrain wise it was kinda as basic as you can get 350 SBC, TH350, NP208, 10 bolts front and rear with 3.73s, 35's on 15x8 AR23's. Just a damn good truck though that rode and drove nice.

I had a parts truck for this one that had D44HD 8 lug front, 14 bolt rear, 400 SBC with SM465 and NP205 but I ended up selling that truck first, then the little 2wd beside this one, then this one.


And no thats not a nitrous bottle. It's a subwoofer made to look like one, called Bass in a bottle.

At the time I had that and the race truck/other crawler. When my best bud passed I gave it to his eldest daughter.
I don't regret that move, but it was my first build.

I bought my 69 with a half cab conversion, 351W, cut/tons of bondo for $3700. Had for 3 years? then the wiring shorted out and as a broke kid I sold it for 3k with the idea of building the 80 toyota pickup and get better mileage due to the fuel crisis in 08-09?...
