Real odball , rear air cooled twin ( iirc), 2 narrow drives in back 2 wide steers in between the headlights and a front opening hatch for entrance/egress...
Some of them had no reverse gear (or maybe all of them IDK) so they qualified as a Motorcycle due to size and weight and you could drive them on a motorbike licence (Reliant 3 wheelers were the same) . There are stories (probably apocryphal) of people buying them and then driving into their garage at home and stopping too close to the back wall and not being able to get out due to the front hatch not being able to open without hitting the wall. Of course with no reverse you were stuck there until somebody else turned up and freed you.
