It sounds like you need a 2nd Bridgeport. Most people don't need a plate bigger than ~12x12. 99.9% of automotive **** a straight edge is fine anyway.
What I wish I had was an 8ft table on my bridgeport so I could keep more **** set up on it.![]()
NiceQuarried and finished about an hour from me.![]()
uhhhhhI have room for the one I bought and I didn’t think I did bad on it for that price, even after you tryin to steal my thunder.
I got a Howe scale at an auction years and years ago... Don't remember what I paid for it but it was dirt cheap. I restored it to good condition and it works great. Main reason I got it is my wife's maiden name was Howe.uhhhhh
"you got a good deal on a reasonably sized one that usually goes for ******ed money and the big ones I stupidly got cheap aren't exactly useful since it takes up too much space to be put in a conditioned area away from thermal gradients caused by sunlight and is terrible to move around, and tremendously expensive to get recertified for flatness"
but you choose to read it as me rubbing my big huge penis all over your face when it was nothing of the sort since it doesn't even get hard and is functionally useless

a fairbanks scale
it is actually accurate, was $20
the wheel closest to the camera is a motor end bell, lol
First of all… eeew. And talk to your doctor about a penis pump. My old boss back in the 80’s was wanting one really bad before he got lung cancer and passed away.uhhhhh

I want an anvil like that or bigger, but I’m not paying crazy money for one (thanks forged in fire)I got a Howe scale at an auction years and years ago... Second, nice scale. I bought one at auction similar ten years ago, a floor unit, but you can pick it up fairly easily. Oddly enough, I’ve never used it for who knows. Taking up space in my shop too.
As evidenced by the price marking, I gave $150 for that 146# peter wright before prices got ******ed. Got another about the same size for free, and have one my old man bought that is an arm and hammer that was broken and re-welded and welded to a pair of truck rims for a base that I use all the time for straightening **** out at the shop.I want an anvil like that or bigger, but I’m not paying crazy money for one (thanks forged in fire)
they're usually seen advertised as feed scales for weighing out daily animal feed rationsWhat's the weight capacity on those fairbanks scales? I have never used one, but I feel like they'd be useless for more than human weight ****.
I bought my first pneumatic air die grinder in the 80’s. Still have and it works great. I own a bunch of them mostly 90*.purchased a while ago, but finally used the other day:
bought the Ryobi die grinder with a bunch of flap wheels/sanding discs etc. It's nice for small stuff.
what I hadn't used was the carbide bits. holy hell how have I been fabbing for 20 years without those? Needed to oblong a hole in my frame for crossmember bolts that weren't quite lined up right. 30 seconds later and DONE vs screwing with drill bits for half an hour. IF you don't have a set, you need it

And now you have millions of little needles laying all around you. Welcome to the club, buy a magnet sweeper before you track that **** in the house or god forbid get it in the laundrypurchased a while ago, but finally used the other day:

Only 2 cups? That ain't gonna lift much. Ours at work has 6, lifting up a plate of 3/4 is sketchy.
I like the max load 550 sticker LOL...Over 1k lbs of plate stuck to it. Not hoisting it for anything other than to see where the limit is, and from the 25.6" on the guage and look of the cups its close by lol. Vac generator is full stroke.

good call. I swept and vacuumed it but I've got 2 toddlers running aroundAnd now you have millions of little needles laying all around you. Welcome to the club, buy a magnet sweeper before you track that **** in the house or god forbid get it in the laundry
Danger zone was playing in my head lol.I like the max load 550 sticker LOL...
I didn't realize that was all mechanical. 25.6 is probably better than our electric one pulls.
Oh **** dude, I got one of those a couple months ago. A bit steep on the price tag but yeah, fawk the die grinder aligning holes, that thing makes short fast work of it and clean too.Holes ain't lined up? Send in the car reamer.

Can you spoon feed me some options, whenever I look up bits I’m not sure which ones to get.purchased a while ago, but finally used the other day:

You can buy a kit of different types of bits and more than likely, you’ll find a couple that you’ll gravitate to the most. Can you spoon feed me some options, whenever I look up bits I’m not sure which ones to get.

I've been doing the same with step drill bits with good luck. Plus if you do **** one up, it was cheap and you don't care
My technique for anything carbide is to sort Amazon by the cheapest and then pick the first with more than 5 reviews. Cheap carbide has worked for me every time so far
