My favorite truck. The trans shifted when it was supposed to towing, rode OK despite being leafs. I put a set of batteries in it, that was the only issues it gave me.

Single cab lwb and burb are within a couple inches of each other.

454 are are decent enough but need a little more cam and a lot more mpfi. The 8.1 is almost 50% more oe power than a pickup 454.

I havent ran a tape between the two. I didnt figure it was that close.
