'54 International/2jz swapped

Yea I haven't done **** with this except pile boxes in the bed since my last post :shaking:

I have been grabbing parts here and there as I find deals but it hasn't been a high priority. Or really even a medium priority.

Need to pull the engine/trans out so I can stuff a flywheel/clutch in there and while its out, finish cleaning up some more of the firewall I can't reach behind the engine.

Also while its out, I snagged a set of GTE pistons/rods I might as well just go ahead and put in there. Need a head gasket set and rings for that still.

Then figure out the steering column lower mount/joints to connect to the rack. And fuel tank/mounting and lines. And brake lines. Hell even what brakes I plan to run. This megasquirt ecu I bought is just a lead harness with 0 connectors on it, so need to lay that out and figure out what goes where. Oh and the chassis harness (scooped up a really nice American Auto wire kit for that half off). Basically everything still

While you are collecting parts, ditch the Ar5 and go T56 or some other trans with more support. I could never get the clutch setup to work on my 2jz/ar5 swapped F100. It would also instantly slip at 3500-4k RPMs. I could feather it to 7-8k but where is the fun in that? Im swapping to an f-body t56 with a grannas racing bell / clutch kit thats known to work together.

**** like this is why this project is progressing on a Sceep time line :flipoff2:

I'll stick with the AR5.

Just a question since the transmission talk is going on. Why not just an R series from a truck? wouldn't that have bolted straight to the motor with a factory bellhousing?
