Dogs of Irate 4x4

This sweet girl passed today.:bawling:

Leo was my son's dog. He named her after a ninja turtle.

I'm out of town and it breaks my heart that I'm not there. She was the sweetest dog. :bawling::bawling::bawling:
Just went through this and it still hurts. Sorry for your loss, RIP Leo

So sorry to hear man.
As much as we all would like to think all the passed pups of IBB are up there frolicking, bitting ears, tails, cuddling at night I sure hope it's a thing, 'cause I've got a few up there.

Waiting for her boy to come home. She will sit there for hours. Doesn't chase anything, doesn't bark. Just watches people and cars go by.

He is moving out probably this weekend, I am going to miss her.

Wife was shopping puppies last night, but I think we are going to take a break from dogs for a little while.

Being without a dog will leave a hole in your soul.

I agree. Wife was never a dog person, let alone a dog in the house person. She hated it. But now she is 100% for getting another dog right away.

She works from home and said she has never felt so safe. People, salesman, delivery. Nobody gets near the house without her knowing. We have one delivery driver that refuses to come to the door because "you have a big black dog"

I want to take a break because we are travelling a lot more now, there won't be a built in dog sitter and my MIL may be moving in this summer bringing her Mutt.

But the wife was shopping King Shepherds last night so I may not get a say in it.

Puppy would be great for socializing with our kids dogs, making it easy to have a dog sitter, but I really would rather find a rescue instead of going through the puppy phase.

I love love love having big black dogs for protection.

I'm currently in the puppy stage. This is Winnie. We picked her up last weekend. She is 9 weeks old.

We are hoping that she will be a great dog for my 6 year old daughter. Winnie is already following my daughter around and will snuggle with her if she will stay still for longer than 30 seconds.

Winnie goes until she can't. She does not care where she is at and just plops down for a nap.

Great name! What breed is she?

Here's my Winnie (lost her in the divorce).

Winnie is a mini bernedoodle of some sorts. She is supposed to get around 30lbs. Should be the perfect size for my daughter to grow up with and take care of.

Your Winnie is a cute yorkie! Sorry to hear that you lost her in the divorce. I will lose this one if i were to get divorced. My wife works from home. Winnie and her have already formed a nice bond. Winnie will get up from me to follow my wife around.

It is easier to get my daughter ready for school in the morning with Winnie around. Winnie has no problems rough housing in my daughters bed to get her to wake up.

Here is a picture of Winnie hard at work today.

Archie is thrilled be back to boat rides and helping around the property after he shattered his kneecap in a compound fracture doing some zoomies into a landscape brick right before Christmas. Took an 8 hour surgery and 8 weeks in an external fixator to get humpty dumpty put back together, but he's just a couple of weeks away from having his restrictions removed and being able to go off leash again.

The vet had me help him while he pulled foxtails out of Marti's tonsils and under his tongue.

He thinks his teeth are bugging him and that's why he's eating foxtails. Next available teeth cleaning appointment is June 18th. Foxtail masks I ordered before this happened are coming from China. ****.

Then he scooped him up and put him in the back of the XJ telling me, "Keep his head level or below his body so he doesn't aspirate on his spit."

I have never driven so careful before in my life.

Never seen a doodle combo like that, cool! Mama's girl, eh? It happens.

We had a boy and a girl and both of them were hitched to me big time. When it was time to move out I couldn't take both so I had to choose which one to leave behind. That was REALLY hard to do knowing the one left behind would never know the world outside of the yard.

Meanwhile my boy goes everywhere with me and lives a life of adventure; he's down AF for whatever.
