Is a High Mileage C5 worth it?

imagine yourself out beyond the euphoria of starting a new project to the existential dread of having another half finished project staring you in the face

Will it drive, yes. will it drive like a corvette should. No.

I get the low initial purchase price and build it up idea though. 5k out of the dresser drawer then nickels and dimes as you have the spare cash is a lot better than being on the hook for a payment on 15k for something you don't use a lot.

you'd get the aids if you sucked her ****

just like the regrets of a yard full of unfinished trash
what the **** am I doing with my life
I should be casting a bellhousing adapter for the insight
or finding a brazilian tranny hooker to destroy my life with
Weather is good, pick something that runs and go to Florida for a week to see the ocean, be reminded that people suck, do tourists ****, enjoy the sunshine and wander back

An early 2000s GM with over 300K? I can hear the cheap plastic interior rattling from my house. :flipoff2: I would pass on something with that mileage. Plenty of cars out there with half the mileage available.

who needs interior?

I don't need HP. I'm content with the 305, but the automatic is lack luster and the brakes almost bought the back end of a 570S, so that stays off the twisty bits with the fun time guys. Honestly less power would make it easier to keep on the road. 500hp is almost too much for something to drive in everyday weather here with proper tires. I wish I had the money to buy the 997.1 that I drove in a rally. That was a fun car and it was reasonably priced before the KungFlu. It held a fine line while airborne in a corner. :grinpimp:

Quit ruining my mental images and go copper plate that adapter while you are at it. :flipoff2:
This might be funded by clearing out all the trash at my shop. Still waiting on some stuff to go, but it's good to move on with dead projects.

Idk If this is my midlife crisis car, that I've finally got enough throttle responsibility to own one, or I'm keeping up with the Jones. The latter is probably it being physically and metaphorically keeping up with people who make too much money.

that sounds more like a winter errand
Too easy to get snowed in during winter.

It's warmer now though, might have to push up the sweater sleeves to the elbow.

Drive West for a day or two instead, see the roads when they don't have snow
