Wasn't there someone on here who had a whole ******ed meltdown about don't buy something unless you can afford it 3 times over in cash or something? I forget the exact horsehit logic but it went on for like 10 pages.... By that logic in todays economy you'd never own a single ****ing thing
ironically, that guy rented his waterheater

so is it accurate to interpret this to mean that relocation expenses and gap between paychecks are wiping out your savings account balance?
No it meant that I am back to square one with a new job, and not the history and reliability of the military.

The 700r4 is weak. It can't take serious loads. all the upgrades and money you can throw at it to make it more viable.... And it's still not enough. The only saving grace is over drive. But. That doesn't mean **** because if I had the TH400, I probably still would have been getting 12 and, and I wouldn't hear it constantly sucking sir switching out of OD and etc.
700r4 is just weak.

LS is a great modern engine. I just prefer the IH. Look, I have all power I want before I even hit 1k rpms with the 392. It's pretty solid to have the grunt at the touch of the throttle. I don't have to wind out my SV to get power band. 345 sees about 300ft lbs of torque at idle. The 392 is closer to 400. At idle. And as proof, pulling grade my 392/345 don't even blink. I didn't loose speed or momentum. The 345 in my Scout kept pulling grade even in 4th gear in the rockies. the 350 in my suburban was screaming, for what? To hold barely hold 40? and I was getting 14mpg with the Scout?

Sure the LS has a lot of horsepower. That's fancy. Higher top speed. That's also fancy. Throwing an LS in because you want higher top speed? Faster whatever? You are now making the IH unsafe, and to fully embrace your crappy LS, you need to change the suspension to support that. The Scout/TravelAll/Pickup we're not designed to go that fast. It's unsafe when you start throwing in these high horsepower engines that get you a top speed of 90+ in a vehicle meant to handle 65-75. I can keep up on the highway just fine I don't need the extra danger, and I'm not willing to change my suspension to whatever BS fits the LS setup. Coils? On a Scout? I really like leaves. Once you do all that, what are you let with? It sure as hell ain't a scout anymore. Except by name, and the body. I'll pass.

Clearly the LS is a good engine series. I'll give you that. But I am plenty happy with what I have, and I don't need or want to ever do LS. Every **** and jane and their mother does an LS. Or a Cummins. It's over done.
Take what you read online with a grain of salt. Alot of things get written and just perpetuate into nonsense over time like the telephone game.

If your happy with an old tractor engine, thats great and all that counts. Some old stuff is spectacular but your just trying to convince yourself its superior and its not in any way compared to more modern proven tech.

I don't have to convince myself. I witnessed it. Drove it. Saw it. 350 is great and all but not for pulling ****. 345/392 all day everyday.

The whole not talking about TP existing thing is ******ed considering we advertise it as a member perk.

Quoting it would have been pretty bad form if I were serious.

this one is rich.... {something something pot kettle} :lmao:
Oh, that was me awhile ago. 100% agreed.

I've since limited my inquiries. Im fine asking questions. I do it all the time. But, what questions I ask is a different story.

Asking about finances, personal choices, and etiquette? Nope.

Asking how something works, why something is the way it is, or a tool discussion? Im always asking.

Lessons learned all around though, right? <3

so a while ago like yesterday/ last week/ this morning? Questions that should be answered by logical intuition are kinda your brand... :lmao:
What question did I ask yesterday or this morning? Fire me a link.

Last one I can think of, is the repacking of the tractor cylinder. Just asking if that coupling nut is set that tight, or it gets that way.

I was shown a bunch of cylinders and these 12' breaker bars to get them off and was told no big deal. No thanks. I'll drop it off and go for a bike ride instead. All I needed to know.

So you ****ing cretins don't have an android app? The **** is the matter with you ******s? I thought you at least
knew better than to use ****ing Apple.

Classics such as 'why are my unbalanced tires I aligned with a tape measure wearing unevenly?' and 'why would a boss be so mad if their employee narced to upper management about a lazy coworker not pulling their weight and CC'ed them on the email?' off the top of my head. :flipoff2:
