Did Trump just offer them 100 million in support?

May 14 (UPI) -- The United States has made formal a $100 million humanitarian aid offer for Cuba, while the island's government said for the first time it is willing to hear the proposal amid massive blackouts, fuel shortages and growing political tensions between Havana and Washington.
 
A year ago I was 100% America first, **** everybody else. I feel that's what Trump ran on, and what I voted for.


I can't help but feel that other interests have started setting up the board in preparation for war against us, Trump has seen the Intel, and is making moves to strengthen our position. Cuba is way too close to let "enemies" put missiles on it.

I ****ing hate middle east entanglements and south American narco adventures, but if you play by play it, it sure looks like

Ice raids in US cutting back remittances to Mexican cartels
Wall blocking Chinese fent thru Mexico
Assisting taking out cartel leader in Mexico
Taking Maduro and seizing oil supply.
Then ****ing up Iran, who sent 90% of its oil to China

All of these things seemed to fall into setting up the next step to curtail any Chinese ambitions


Trump has a 4 year term to strengthen America's defenses before handing it over to whomever comes next


I've gotta give him the benefit of he doubt. A **** ton of doubt



*I also think the Epstein files are exactly what we think they are, and worse, but releasing them sends us into internal chaos, full revolt, which we need, but...... it sets us up for invasion

******ed coping. Without even getting into refuting any of the individual points, as a whole, why does any of that prevent him from carrying out the domestic policy changes he ran on? He's almost entirely abandoned domestic policy in general and completely abandoned the bigger campaign promises like gutting Federal agencies, firing employees, and reigning in the fraud.

We got a whole 3 months of DOGE exposing fraud and waste on an almost unfathomable scale all while stirring the pot as little as possible and being as charitable as possible with intent and what did we get to show for it? They closed the program, re-funded everything, and went back to business as usual. They didn't even cut out the most obvious of the Social Security fraud.

1st of all, **** the swamp, **** 500 something of the representatives that I'm pretty sure were eating children and **** Isreal that was running the blackmail program about it.

You're Trump, and you're coming in to clean house.

Then files land on your desk that say China is getting ready to move on you, and they've been planning it for years.


What do you do?
Do you tariff metals to build up American industry, we're not ready for war.

Do you run sound monetary policy that's respectful of savers and retirees?

Do you hold representatives accountable? Do you hold agencies accountable?

Or do you know where the bodies are, start your war machine, warn the swamp to stay the **** out of your way or you'll start releasing ****, abandon sound monetary policy in favor of bringing industry and resources to America and weakening "enemies" in any way necessary



Say there's a 4/5 chance I'm just ****in wrong.
But if there's a 1/5 chance I'm right, and china's failed one child policy that left them with an unbalanced demographic of 20 million extra fighting age young men, it's definitely worth considering the downside risk

Again, why is it an either/or option?

He's not alone, he's got an entire administration. They don't all need to be solely focused on foreign policy.

Even if your point is correct, which it's not, but for the sake of argument, let's say it is. In that case why would you just quietly alienate your entire voter base to focus on foreign policy with zero explanation? Why wouldn't you tell the public things are worse globally than you thought and you as the President need to focus more on foreign policy? Do that then set up Vance running domestic policy based on what you campaigned on and set him up to be President after a successful four years.

All the **** he's doing now is nothing but giving Democrats and opportunity to come back, something they'd never have if even some of the campaign promises were getting delivered on. He's probably already blown the mid terms for the GOP and if the Dems can come up with an even remotely decent candidate on paper they're probably taking the White House back in 28 and we're all ****ed if that happens.

Even if whatever he's doing overseas is setting us up for war with China, how do you think that works out when the Democrats come back into power? That scares me a hell of a lot more than the Chinese do. Especially since Trump has been working with all these tech oligarchs to broaden the surveillance state tie in AI and all these data centers into it and the military.

Until congress actually does it's constitutionally mandated job of creating a budget, there's ZERO chance of any spending cut. CR's are designed so they don't have to deal with actually addressing the issues....

Instead of taking any of those steps, he told a reporter in the wide open "i don't care about Americans". He does this because he knows, as indeed they did, his devout will find some way to copium and make excuses for it like a battered woman and thats all he cares is that someone is still worshipping him. "He didnt mean it this time". He hits us because he loves us". Thats literally what his excusers and followers sound like.

The honest truth is he is arrogant and doesn't believe it is possible for him to lose or fail. He and Virginias governor have that in common. **** policy handling and the total arrogance to think everyone is going to get behind it.

Fixed that for you. You seem to have gotten her anyway so jokes on us. I voted for him for both reasons. Sure he seemed the lesser of two evils, but i also voted for him because i believed he would go scorched earth in retaliation for his first term in 2020. Instead the only people he wants to scorch are the american ones it would seem.....
