Easy button for hiking/outdoor weapon?

Looks all new, just missing 2 grip screws on right side, somehow.

Was planning on replacing grips anyway, probably some VZ grips, so not a huge deal, but odd none the less.

Gun shop I got it from, off gunbroker, reached out and said they filed a claim with Springfield on my behalf, and will get a call or email from SA. Got the call today, and have a new full set of screws coming. While it wasn't a big deal, was awesome they went ahead and did it.

Ordered some 45 for a range trip, going to take my new to me CZ as well, and get it fed. The gun is tight, I still need to pull it apart for a clean and oil before that range trip.

I love the sound that cz makes when you drop the slide.

45's worth loading for IMO. Least was last time I checked ammo prices. 200gr swc's are just a good time :smokin:

Ordered 500 rounds, apparently it never got ordered (no charge to my card or anything) so just reordered it again. I have plenty of 9mm, so when that comes in a range day will happen. It's just some cheap 230 gr FMJ target ****.

I did get the screws from SA, and now I'm looking at some nice non rubber grips, probably some VZ or the like.

Your tasteless broke ass shoulda stuck with a glock :flipoff2:
While it's a nice gun, it's still a working gun.

I'll tell you what, when I get some other **** in order, I'll borrow your CC and go buy me a nice high end 1911 and buy those ivory grips.

For the cost of those grips, I can go buy a Glock, or M&P, or Echelon, or many other striker plastic fantastics.

I have same concerns. I mountain bike a lot and always wear a camelback, the straps go right over my normal 3'oclock/4'oclock carry position - iwb/owb, hip straps or not.

I have considered a fanny pack option for riding. Even one of those single shoulder strap deals. There are a bunch out there now that are made for ccw specific. If you got a pack with wide hip straps maybe there is a fanny pack you could run on the straps. That might be better than a chest rig under shirt/jacket - with that you have the pack chest strap and cover garment to contend with just so you can draw. Fanny pack just zip it and rip it
I got my wife 5.11 Fanny pack so she s could carry while running.

She likes it and it's got her to carry regularly so win i guess.
It's easy to access and has a Velcro backer so you can Velcro a holster in there to keep it from moving around.
Pretty sure it was 5.11. unsure now.
Anyway, good option for discreet cross body wear, looks like any other hipster cross body fanny pack.

Edit:
With a bit of practice she was down to 2.6 seconds on the shot timer to unzip, draw and fire.
Not as fast as a holster, but better than her not carrying.

Fits in a backpack so the coroner can just tag it and move on....
Sorry but if you have to perfect moer than 2 moves to acquire the trigger then it isn't a defense weapon...
Yea I know:stirthepot:
