Alt cell providers

I had mint but it only works near a city or a busy suburb. Heck, out on the farm, no bueno. Only the coworkers with Verizon can call out & receive.

This is what I have, $60 plus tax monthly-
If only Verizon works at the farm, there is only a CDMA tower near it. Since Verizon and sprint are the only carriers to use CDMA in the states, that limits you to those. Everybody else is GSM. If you really want to be pimping, get a world phone that will run on either.

I have Xfinity and I hate Comcast with a passion but it's $25 a month and uses Verizon's towers. Have service in all the normal areas.

Turned off all Comcast services other than this one after they didn't have my cable box in stock after a lightning strike and were going to charge me and additional $9 a month for another box while I waited for the right one to come in.

Turned it off on the spot.

Been on visible for a year. $25/mo. No taxes, fees or bull****. $25/mo. Unlimited data and tethering. $25/mo.

So went from Verizon @~75/mo to visible for $25/mo.

visible is owned by verizon, so it is the exact same service without the overhead.
Same here. No complaints. Works just like Verizon at 1/3 the cost.

I've found when the towers start nearing capacity they will kick all the subs off before their customers.

So, I stay with Verizon. I'm at $150 for 4 lines, no phone payments. Unlimited everything, except hot spot. I rarely use the hotspot though, only have it on my phone.

I listen to podcasts and stream YouTube and Pepperbox all day in the background. Burn up 75-150 GB a month in data.

I've been on T-Mobile for decades. International is easy, works good enough and coverage has improved a bunch over the years

4 lines and home Internet, so I pay them a bunch every month but it keeps my dad and my in laws and my family all on one plan.

Seems like their 1 or 2 line plans aren't bad

wifey has prepaid Tracfone and gets more coverage than I get with Mint mobile in western NY.
