Purchased this 2000 single cab for 3k and a trade for my vw golf that had 180,000 miles on it. I originally was a little bummed on the aluminum flat bed it came with but slowly realized I could utilize it and make something neat for the enduro races I take part in, it will do for now until I know what direction I wanna take this truck in! I knew the front end needed a complete overhaul after driving home from the marketplace deal. I went a little over board and went with a long travel kit from total chaos! a coworker/good friend lent me his pole barn for two weekends to me and let me have at it getting the front end installed. Never posted a build or anything before but figured I’d give it try and maybe I’ll gain some knowledge from u guys

here’s what I’ve done so far out in the drive way minus the total chaos front end

Trying to take advantage of being on nightshift for a few weeks. I went in this afternoon to the shop at work and used the plasma to cut out some 1/2” d-ring mounts for the bumper build, ran home got those welded on and finished a couple little odds n ends on the bumper as well
