gotta love the "leave early" people chiming in. guess we know who strolls into the office/shop at 801am after doing 5 under all morning
my point is that if people could just drive the speed limit and not be afraid of everything, then the world might actually work lol
why would someone drive 5-10 under in the middle of the day or at rush hour. why? why the **** did you leave your house. unless youre an 80yr old woman, drive the speed limit at least. if someone is riding your ass and clearly in a bigger hurry then you, pull over and don't be a ****. i pull over for people all the time if they want to go even faster than i do.
here's some revolutionary ideas for all the bumpkins driving miss daisy all day:
if you're not going to do at least 10 over on the highway, stay in the right lane.
if you're going to pass someone, ****ing pass them. not creep by them over the course of 4 miles
if you're approaching a roundabout, don't slow down to the point that the car entering from the other side has time to make you have to stop.
if you're approaching an empty roundabout, don't come to a complete stop
if the two brain cells bouncing around in your head have managed to somehow get you into the roundabout, then don't stop in the roundabout to let someone in
if you have the right of way, just take it for ****s sake. stop trying to be "friendly" by holding up 20-30 cars for the sake of one. its called math.
Based on my experience most Tesla owners are liberals who bought them as status symbols before Elon bought X. Instead of buying a Camry because "look at me I'm so practical this thing is gonna go a million miles on oil changes" they all bought Teslas because "electric is the future, peasant". These people are going to drive the same ******ed speed whether they're doing it in a ~500hp Tesla or a ~100hp Prius. They don't know how to drive well because they never learned, because they never cared to lean.
Around here the fleet is finally starting to turn over and Teslas are starting to drive more normally because normal people are buying them as normal used cars and the people who bought them because fast EV are still hanging onto them.
Contrast with the people who bought German EVs. I've never seen an E-tron not full ****ing send it through an on-ramp.
everytime i get to see someone do some absolute reckless hood rat driving i cheer because i finally see a non-pussy who has a concept of space, time, and velocity. the average car is far more capable than the average driver. how many cops lose pursuits to ****in Hyundais and **** lol
