My buying of toys has gone down a lot in recent years, but from my browsing of Marketplace it seems that non-necessities have come down quite a bit on recent years. Is this true?

I can’t give you any advice for your toy doll fetish, but I watched a video the other day about how boats and wet bikes market is crashing.

I've noticed a lot of fun stuff sitting for a long time, at what I'd consider ridiculous prices. Specifically 100k+ early broncos.

Not so crazy stuff, prices coming down to reasonable on early mustangs other than the fastbacks, gts, and shelbys.

People still asking a lot, I know what I have no low ballers.

Hope market stays up, I plan on purging some stuff as soon as I am more mobile.

With the ever increasing fuel prices we will see more scooters/lower cc bikes and such command premium.

I placed a 2023 Kawi 300 ATV for sale 48 hours ago for $1250, not a single message, I would think I would have 30+ messages by now.

Definitely seeing the beginning of the crash on dirt bikes and old ATVs around here, covid era really jacked up the market.

halfass looking for a 4wd quad of some description

Theres good deals out there everyday. Maybe a few more now than there were last year.

I dont see as many $100k rigs for sale though. So thats kinda nice

If you don't get any bites after a week or two delete it. Relist and change your price to $1850 These days if you put a fair price people think it must be junk. Overprice it and they lowball you. You get what you wanted and they think they got a screaming deal. It's stupid.

The amount of vehicles showing up on the side of the road with for sale signs in them has increased around here a lot lately, and most sit for a good while. It wasn't too long ago you didn't see any for sale on the roads or in people's yards.

Bike market is dead. You can buy anything for short money.
I've noticed that, I'm not sure if my expectations are jacked or what but I've noticed a lot of Harley's in the I could get a cruiser bike range recently.

Same thing with UTVs, prices are making me think hard about getting one now that I have kids.

For what its worth, I've owned ~30 bikes and my Dyna Fat Bob is my all time favorite.

I was going to put my GSX650F on the block, but I'd get nothing for it. Its got full Ohlins suspension, Sargent Seat, and factory luggage. Any buyer would look right over that.

For ~1-2years I've been flip-flopping between Ranger 1000 vs Pioneer 1000-5 vs CJ-3A vs beater TJ for property maintenance shenanigans. Just need two-seats (no 2-up quads), small cargo area, and enough oomph to drag a 4x6 utility trailer up/down a quite steep gravel driveway. Beater TJ prices have been on the downswing lately with many options available below $5k asking, whereas it would have been ~$8k a couple years ago.

Id enjoy a 4.0 Rubicon but hell with anything up here.

Just not in the place I need to be to travel somewhere.

Crossover with the AWD actuator in the rear diff. Drop the diff and weld the actuator and weld the spiders at the same time.

Boats, especially big powerboats are on the decline. Pretty easy to go through a couple thousand in fuel over a weekend with some of those. Plus I think a lot of their owners are timing out, I see them mostly in Lake Havasu which is like a retirement community for old hot rodders and hot boaters.

I need to sell my bike.

Sat so long it leaks fuel, sounds like I'll need to spend the $50 for it

What do you figure short money is for a 98 Kawasaki concours 1000 with 60k miles is?

$1k would be nice, but if it's a $400 bike these days I'll just toss it on the back 40 and ride it again in a few more years

~30 year old bike with 60k is going to be a hard sell.

There's a 2007 FJR with 20k here for $3700.

Personally, I refuse to buy a bike with over 20k. But that's just me.

Yeah, it's a solid commuter with high fuel prices for someone that is less concerned about things. That's about all it has going for it
