That’s what they allege. My CC permit bypasses the NICS check, but there are stupid fudd ****s in my area that make their own rules. My last transfer was delayed as a result so I decided to try it.
As an aside, I sent them a print card that was dated three years ago and they accepted it. Now I need to get the number of the beast tattooed on my left forearm like the nazis did to the Jews.

Great timing considering the new ATF director got rid of the bull**** engraving requirements yesterday. :laughing:

New ATF director signed off on all of these late yesterday, #15 for the engraving:

ATF statement on their website says there's an open comment period but I didn't see specific times. Form 1s I got back today don't have the engraving requirement note on them I've seen on other recent Form 1s. Implication seems to be they're moving forward on this stuff immediately even if they're sued.

edit: Implication from the ATF and AG statements on this, not just my Form 1s not having the engraving requirement on them.

edit edit: Everything I'm reading on this says there's generally a 90 day comment period before they make a final decision, typically each individual rule gets its own period and they're supposed to give a specific time frame. These were just announced without any specifics so there's no way to know. Best guestimate is 90 days.

Still not bothering to engrave my **** since the approval forms don't mention the requirement.

I have a **** & balls and I’m not a bitch. If you are one sex (gender is for inanimate objects) and claim the other, you’re falsifying information on a federal document. Also, you need serious ****ing help because you have a few screws loose.

paid for a suppressor on 5/1/26 at a shop that had a Silencer Shop kiosk. form 4 was submitted by the shop today 5/8/26. does that seem a little slow for the shop to take a week to do their part and submit to the ATF? unless they are just THAT busy? tiny little shop but they had have had like 10 people working

Silencer Central was even slower the last time I used them. Once they have your money, no urgence exists on there part. Both are doing a LOT of volume now however.

They’re tired, L-A-Z-Y, tired. The gAyTF is getting better return times than that. Who knows how long they’ll take to let you know when you can pick it up after it clears.
 
guess i picked a lazy gun shop.


the form doesnt appear on my ATF login, but it would be on the gun shops? do i get notified or would the dealer?
