Useless things about your day!

That's why I bring up the bit on mobility being dirt cheap
when you're able/expected to move from place to place easily/quickly then there's very little hard value in one's word

Do I mail a handful of actual new brass to San Diego CJ and pay him 300 bucks to knock on somebody’s door in Idaho? :lmao:

Digging through the bag again I think you right. Meh It loads.

Well, that sucks, Met him 5 years ago he would stop in every few months and shoot the ****.

He had a knack for sharpening knives when he was younger to the point surgeons brought him their tools before it was all disposable or whatever boomer bull**** story he concocted. :flipoff2:

Vinny will be missed.

With that comment I'm going to assume you don't own much "stuff"

However I will agree, I trust the word of maybe two people, both of which are Family members... And that's still a stretch...

I found this boys axe while I was cleaning out one of the barns and I have to say this might be the handiest axe I've ever used. Weight and handle length wise it's about perfect for one handed work with either hand versus a single bit which I'm only good on my dominant arm.

Got to get over to the shop and get the edge cleaned up tomorrow.

I live in a town of about 2,000 people and we just had a VERY loud jet fly maybe a couple hundred feet AGL I'm pretty sure directly over our local airstrip. Made my day :smokin:
it's c130 season here.

they were cruising around at 300ft doing c130 things the other day.
when I was a lad they used to shoot short field approaches in the field behind the house.
cargo door open, guy haning out the back. **** was sweet.

Nice! Imagine being that guy hanging out the back

We went to 4/10's once. Lasted a couple of weeks. Cut back hours and knock off an entire day and then act surprised that not as much was getting done? :homer:
In the oil field we worked 12/12, then 3 days off you had the same 6 days off every month and we could trade to get 6 days off the company did care as long as all shifts were covered.
I liked 4/10s as a single guy it gave me time to relax, but still get all those things needed for living like laundry, and grocery shopping done

LTL functions like this most of the time. Work you like a slave when freight is there, then cut the hours/days when freight slows down.

Feast or famine really. When work is there it is relentless, 10 plus hour day is guaranteed.

My nephew has decided to quit being an OO, his truck has 990,000 on the engine, and he decided that it isn't worth the cost of rebuild. He has found a local company that will let him be home with his kids

other end, far too much stuff
spread out across a strip of about 90 miles
completely unnatural and should be consolidated

You're contradicting yourself man.

Either lot's of ****, difficult to move everything, or I can grab all my **** and bail within a couple hours.

Who's confused? You or me?

Not being a ****, serious question.

That threw me for a loop.

A close friend that I have known since high school has the exact same name.
