Wouldn't it still just bottom out where it bottoms out no matter how tight? Can you not just tighten the mag release up a little more? That's what I did to mine when I had a pro mag colt magazine adapter.
i'm making a Colt 635 clone. The better adapter is a glock mag lower. Just sayin.
I can't remember what was wrong with mine. But I thought that it was dropping mags and it tightened the mag release. It made it stiffer to push.Wouldn't it still just bottom out where it bottoms out no matter how tight?
i ordered the extended mag catch, thanks Aisin for the linky.

If you tighten the mag catch it should pull it in closer to the interior of the magwell. Snap an image of the mag release button (the one that is pushed by a finger). I will bet that there will be at least one thread still showing. The threaded "stud" should be as flush with the button as possible. Or not...Wouldn't it still just bottom out where it bottoms out no matter how tight?

It’s flush. I really don’t think tightening it will help? It still bottoms out against the channel in the receiver, it’ll just make the button harder to push in.If you tighten the mag catch it should pull it in closer to the interior of the magwell.
