Well my lazy ass just pulled my low mile motor outve the wrecked golf. Things i will say #1 give zero ****s about the car. #2 keep anything you might want to use. Hoses etc. i believe thats a brm so things might be different than an alh. But keep all engine harness and chassis side pigtails if youre building your own harness gas pedal ecu etc. in my never ending horse trading i did end up with a mtdi pump. So i will be using that and a hans diesel turbo controller for the vnt turbo. It will have a boost knob on the dash for adjustment which uses the factory vacuum pump/n75 valve and a 3 bar map sensor. The motor in the jimny is destin for my 83 toyota pick as the 20/22r hybrid is very tired. The engine currently in the jimny is setup to be around 200hp(injectors turbo tuning etc) but im keeping this thing not much over stock power to make sure my suzuki samurai 5 speed doesnt grenade in 2.5 seconds. Im currently taking some time off work after working 6 12's for 3.5 years. So im giving myself until the end of the month to get this thing done. I have no social media anymore and i challenge anyone reading this to do my "free from social media febuary" this came about after i realized i sat by the stove in my shop ****ing the dog looking at my phone for 3.5hrs straight. It's an absolute waste. But yeah anyhowitzer heres some pictures of moving things around and a zero fučks engine pull and keep in mind i havent washed this power house yet talk about a clean low mile (98k) unit.🤌🏻Any updates?
Told myself to get into gear this year. I’m planning to pull the TDI out of my 05 Golf in the next several weeks. Any tips/ suggestions. What to keep, unbolt, etc. you’re using the manual Zuki tranny and not the one behind the TDI correct?
