Bought a couple hollow ram porta-power/enerpac style cylinders off e-bay... Both 30 ton. one 2" stroke and the other 4" Should come in handy!

Also picked up a handheld shrinker stretcher.

And a couple of Chicago Pneumatic inline sanders

And just scored a 1985 International dump truck with the DT466 and a 5 speed with 2 speed rear for $1155 on purplewave. Best part is it's only 1/2 mile away, so I don't have to make some lengthy trip to go pick it up...

How much did you pay for the inline sanders? I got one I bought used from my snappy guy in the early 90’s. Never used it but don’t wanna sell it either. 🤪

Unfortunately, my one uncle who bought the store from my grandfather sold it to one of his employees when he wanted to retire. It looks like it is permanently closed now. Lots of old memories from back in the 60’s n 70’s.

Bummer. I would go in there to get RC crawler **** occasionally. Must have happened in the past few months, I was in there over the summer.

right at $45 a piece. I figured they'd be more seeing as how they are Chicago Pneumatic, but used air tools are usually pretty cheap. Cheaper than a new Chinese one... My old Harbor Freight inline sander quit on me, so I had to tear it apart and fix it the other night. It does work again for now, so I got my body work job done, but it's going to go to the local auction house and be someone else's problem after I get these new ones in...

Also just got this 500 gallon stainless tank, Honda engine and pump, couple chains and binders and car trailer for $1300 plus a 6% buyers fee. Different auction house, and about 50 miles away. Needed the stainless tank. The rest of the stuff is just extras. I think the car trailer is probably better than a couple I currently use...

Bought this sprayer setup for my plasma table. It is new but setting for a long time st the store. I think there is a pressure gauge that was supposed to come on it as it has a threaded port with nothing in it. I ordered one from amazon.

I picked this thing up for couple hundred bucks and it sold new for $600. It’s a three point mount setup. Some parts are missing but we scrounged up a bunch in different areas. Found the spray nozzles for a 6’ bar setup but no bar around for them. I don’t need them for this tank but for a smaller one I do use. I’m going to spray weed killer for some food plots at our farm so I’ll fix something up for that.

Kind of a tool. Went to get oil dry-the clay stuff- found this stuff. It picked up manual trans oil in 30 minutes and seems to have pulled the oil out of the concrete or bleached it. Wish I had before pics. The paler pattern is where one puddle was.

Cheap kitty litter does the same thing

StrongHand tools had a pretty decent sale going on for their medium duty clamps. Picked up a 3 pack of the 8.5", 3 pack of the 12.5", a flexible mag fixture, and they threw in two of their "Tab setters" as well.

Also, I picked up a cool old stencil machine. A friend of mine has one but he lives almost 3 hours away. Last time I had a big party at my place he had it in his truck and it was both fun to goof with and also useful. He left it with me for a few months and I used it but then he took it back so I was on the hunt for one since. This one is the bigger font " NO STEP"... the other wording is from goofing around with his. All of the city owned trash cans in his neighborhood have been tagged "EPSTEIN DIDN'T KILL HIMSELF".

Also, another prime example of the way we use this thing... My group of friends all co-own an old School Bus that has been converted into an all around utility / camping / tow rig setup. The reactions we get at stop lights is excellent.

What kind of swivel feet are on your screw clamps? The little flat saucer disc foot or the big nut with disc foot?

The latter with the nut. My older ones (circa 2009) are the other version.
I zoomed in on your clamps. I bought four of those around 10 years ago with the nut disc feet and the removable radius accessory. They are pretty big clamps though length wise and I’d want to get four more a bit shorter like my two Bessey clamps.

Bought this leather tool belt for $12 at an auction. Still had manufacturers tags on it. It’s missing the suspenders but I’ll source some for it.

Bought a Famco No. 3 yesterday. Not a smoking deal but they don’t pop up often near me. Going to weld on a 1/2 or 3/4 drive socket for ratcheting action.

It’s crazy the value they hold. I got a / I paid $20 for but I want a big one.

I won this at auction for $3. My thought is to beef the undercarriage with some wiggle wheels. I want to use it for my laptop and mouse for my new plasma table. I’m not interested in the swivel stick arm mounted to the table setup. I’ll try it and ifn it doesn’t work out well, then I’ll post it on FBMP and figure something else out. Main issue I see having is room in my shop and I’m not 100% on the actual physical size of it.

Got these two guys today. Jacob’s 1/8-3/4” ball bearing super chuck USA with key and huge taper shaft. It looks new under the rusty crust on it. Teeth on key and chuck look never used. So that’ll be an interesting job to clean up, but not for a long time as I have way too much to do.

I paid $100 for this Albrecht 1/8-5/8” keyless chuck that is in like new condition.

I have a few of those Jacobs ball bearing and Albrecht chucks that came with the LeBlond lathe I picked up earlier in the year. I haven't yet started cleaning them up, but they both look easy to rebuild from what I have seen online.

Snagged this Dayton 10” with a Tapmatic 50x for $200 off Craigslist. I just wanted the Tapmatic. Thinking of giving drill press to my nephews for their first tool.
how well does that tapmatic work? I bet that's fun to use if the machine is slow enough.

Haven’t used it yet, just cleaned the grime off of it. I ordered the missing “back jaw” that holds the square end of the taps. Found one on eBay for $32. I didn’t realize it was missing when I bought it this morning. I plan on getting a 33JT/R8 arbor so I can run it in my Bridgeport. I’ll need to make a torque bar for the quill on the mill too. I’ve been looking online and they are more than I paid for the combo itself. I did get one collet with it, but it’s seen better days. I may order both sizes after I see how things work with the one missing piece. The collets are around $100+ each, which is ****ty because they are mostly rubber.

Yes, I know the Jacob’s comes apart from watching videos over time. I just need to figure out the best rust remover method without destroying the finish. I think I may not be able to save that as some rust has left damage to the surface that may not be salvaged to oem finish. I’m not too worried about that so long as I can get it done right and best way to start with. Can’t bitch about the price of it tho.
