Journey Rock Poison 2 stickys. The "temu trep."

Guy around here just got a set.. they seem pretty good so far for woods wheelin. wicked thick sidewalls, had to get longer bolts for the beadlock. I think something like 700 per tire. Made in China obviously.

Anyone else have any experience with these?

Dude in the rockbuggy group on FB shredded a set in South Dakota. His comments were the sidewalls are super beef, but the lugs are super soft like a Micky Pro X and like to fold over. Give me a few and I will try to dig up some pics.

On the other hand a couple of the bouncers have been running them all season and they are holding up well.

I almost ordered a set when Goforth got his shipment but wanted to wait for some real world feedback.

not my pics just trying to share info. I also read somewhere they are open cell like a Red. Maybe someone can confirm that.

I still want to try them.

TEMU treps.... seem to be working for some guys. I was considering them other than a replacement is hard to get from the vendors I was asking

hmmm very tempted for sure. i was looking at the 40s and scott said 599 each. he was saying about 60 days give or take for his next shipment.

and by shredded do you mean broke in good or junked.

He spun them a bunch on rocks, only took them out a couple times. They were still newish. They are not rock crawler tires. He was expecting red like performance out of a chinease tire.
That doesnt say how well they did for the cost

I find a big difference between China or Thailand.

Could you show us the google response please? Because that's not what I get.

They're owned by Cheng shin, a Chinese company.

Also, founded in Taiwan, not Thailand.

Maybe splitting hairs, I guess. Either way, they're not made in the US. But I do get that they've supported a lot of motorsports and direct rip offs always suck. But ****ing $1200/tire or whatever treps are is tough to swallow for the average guy.

Taiwan isn't Thailand either
:flipoff2:

Thier parent company is Chinese, that's where I got that from.
Maxxis is from Tailand.
CST which owns Maxxis is from Taiwan, not China.

It's like saying BFGoodrich is a French brand because Michelin owns them...

You sure? Since they're both made in the same part of the world, my bet is the factory's don't look that different.
The US and Mexico are in the same part of the world, and their factories look very similar.
