Went wheeling memorial weekend and we had a problem. Bearing failed and let the axle slide out. Ford 9

Had to tow him a few miles it got super rocky in some spots but I was able to drag him to Bowman and load him on a trailer.

We tried a few methods and this is the best, long log to the frame and 1 ratchet strap would last a mile or so till it was worn down to bad and we had to change it out

this way put a lot of stress on the suspension brackets and hard on straps but is easy to set up

I noticed I didn’t do a KOH25 update. I’ll have to do that later. I hade some rear suspicions problem at the hammers and I did some major rear suspension work and the rig works way better now. I’d even go as far as saying it’s perfect. I just need to test it in the desert again. It’s amazing on fire roads and in the rocks

Just didn’t build it with enough bracing and welding thick metal to thin metal KOH finally got me. It was on both sides of the truck.

The fix I ran a 9/16 bolt through the frame and sleeved it I also had to relocate my shackles hanger.I’m running the f150 leaf backwards so my departure angle is amazing now. I just did the rubicon and never hit the shackle once. The worst part of all this was having to cut into my cab to fit my 2.5 inch shocks I didn’t want to sacrifice my rear storage but there was know other way. Now saying that the 2.5 shocks are the best thing iv done for the rear ride quality. I also valved the shocks myself they are amazing on fire roads and on the rubicon. We’ll see how they do in the desert that’ll be the true test on how well I valved it.
