Might throw a thin sheet metal bed floor in it for the interim until we get the right wood that we want and dad and I have time to make the new boards. Just pulled it back in the shop again last night to cut the frame down as soon as the boy has time to work on it. Hopefully that’s tonight after work
Got it inspected and tagged/insured last week, $40 tag for antique, now it’s $17/year here on out.
Still on the hunt for a tr6060, I have seen several for $3000 and just need to find one that I trust is still good and pull the trigger
This part of summer is pretty busy, I have four or five small excavating jobs to do, we have some wheat that needs cut and a Colorado trip here in 21 days. Both side-by-side need the transmission to come out, one needs the case welded and the other needs lower gears put in it.
Here in 19 days he wants to take the 67 to a burnout competition and truck show and melt a couple sets of tires off so we need to get it put back together good enough to go do that.
This surface rust was after one night out in the humidity/overnight dew
Cheers all, I’ll update when we get it shortened and the bed back together and installed.
