All the links are 2.0 x .250. All rod ends are 1.250 shank x 2.625 mount. All mounting bolts are .625 except the rear lowers which are .750What size rod ends are you using on the upper links at the axle end? Are they in a 2" or 2.65" wide capture? 1 3/4" OD tubing for the uppers or ??? Nice work so far!
.625 or 9/16 is a mother ****er of a bolt to find easily. Just saying. I did it and sucked every time I needed one. I could find grade 5 all day long. Just fyi.All the links are 2.0 x .250. All rod ends are 1.250 shank x 2.625 mount. All mounting bolts are .625 except the rear lowers which are .750

Been ordering from AFT Fasteners a bit lately. Shipping is free over $100. Doesn't work well for onesies/twosies....but if you need a fair amount of bolts that you know you'll use regularly....it's the best price going..625 or 9/16 is a mother ****er of a bolt to find easily. ****ing A.... i saw .5625 is 9/16 and .625 is 5/8 see what happens when you leave out one number.... hahhahahahahAppreciate it.
Not to be **** but .625 is 5/8. Either way one good thing about living in So.Cal. is I'm pretty fortunate to have a few well stocked hardware stores close by. Theres always McMaster-Carr for what can't be found local.
All the square and rectangle tube is .188 wall and came out of the rem rack at .99 cents a pound. I have just enough to finish out the main chassis rails.
These are current pics, axles at full stuff all the upper links are in the top holes on sub frame. The plan is 6-7"s up travel with a 14" shock.

That shouldn't be a problem. Its been months to get this far.Look you're gonna need to slow the F down.
Looking good!
Same. Box stores like Home Depot/Lowes typically don't carry much assortment of length or grades once you get over 1/2", but Ace usually does albeit it's at a premium.Maybe its changed, but even the local ace hardware stores would carry 9/16 and 5/8 bolts. I've never had an issue finding those locally.
Yup, home depot sucks for hardware. Ace is better and even still has all the little yellow bins with oddball stuff in them. I've found new brushes for the motor in my makita 4.5 angle grinder there.Same. If fedex will ever deliver my shocks I'll put up some updates of mine. I think I'm winning the done last race though lo

As of right now I’m not planning on bypass shocks. I’m planning on mounting a sway bar in the forward mounts on the arms.Isn't it better to have the coilover in the forward mounting location and the bypass in the rearmost mount? My understanding has always been that you want the bypass where it sees the most overall movement.
The adjustable top mount is brilliant.![]()

Although plans change.
I’m currently trying to decide on an eco box in front of my d300 or selling and buying a 3.0 Atlas.
They are 4:1 and teraflex gears. I must have made a mistake. I just put the D300 up for sale this morning.Don't even mess with that eco box. IMO they're an incredible waste of money in front of the 300. It's too much gearing in front of a case that already has a tough time with the stock 2.62s at times... let alone the 4-1s you put in it. Now would be the time to decide atlas or aftermarket 300 case... with power and weight what you got going on, I'd be heading down the atlas/205 route.
1st post you said 4.3-1 gears in your 300? never heard of those. Your intermediate is a 2 piece which looks like the ol' teraflex setups but that ratio is new to me.
been a cool build to follow!
