Picked this up about two months ago and will be doing a mostly full restoration. Has a D.D. 6V53T through an Allison MT653 transmission. Will post more once I get it started. Should be a great for the streets of Atlanta.

It's going to be a few weeks or so before I really get into it. Have two other vehicles ahead of it. but I will be working on it shortly. Need to pull the pack as it has a busted hydraulic line and dumped about 15 gallons of 30w oil in the hull... :-/

When I was working in a Detroit Diesel shop in the early 70's we had a saying,
If its green and screams and comes here in a basket, It's a 6v53
They broke crankshafts like crazy

I bet. Got what I'm nearly certain is a silver 8V92T in our bus. I've seen several bus 8V92's break the crank and still drive home.

Very cool. Would that be a cadillac gage?
It just so happens that I’m in Winder GA this weekend. Are you anywhere close? I have time to kill and I would love to see this. I got the HEMTT with me, so you could get a tour to.

There was a thread on the old forum called Zombie Killer. It is one of my favorite threads ever. I hate to send people there, but it is worth going through. It is a Cadillac gage armored car modified drastically by a guy with unlimited money. He also happens to be in GA as I recall.

heading to N. GA in a few mins, but will be back this evening. If you want to stop by tmw, you're welcome to, DM me and I'll send you the phone number. Also, the guy with the modified V100 is a good friend of mine, he has another hull and a almost back to original restored one as well. Great guy.

FORD M20 ARMORED UTILITY CAR 1944 | eBay

Here is a great opportunity to own a piece of WWII history. Ford produced these armored cars from 1943-1945 with just 3791 built. This armored car is serial number 1255. This armored car has a Hercules JXD engine which I believe to be original to the vehicle.

I remember that dude back on Pirate in Atlanta who pimped the hell out of his APC to steer drive. Had FLIR & ****:laughing:
