Build MNR 4600 class 2021 U4 Bronco

Thanks for the recap and awesome pictures! Damn that looks and sound fun. Lots of work but fun none the less and one hell of an experience from the sounds of it.

My favorite part of the recap: "Drew kept telling me to slow down which I never acknowledged. I didn’t tell him no, I just didn’t slow down."

Drive fast, take chances. :grinpimp:
That was when we started catching and blasting past more SXS’s 🤣. Ate their dust for an hour in the desert leading up to the mountain but then it got choppy. They slowed down and we did not. Not one photographer or photograph in that whole section. It just went dark and the dust disappeared. I’d like to see what that section looks like in the daylight, I think.

I'm going to start planning the trip to Crossbar for the finals this year. Do they allow spectators to camp and bring quads and SxS's that weekend or is the park racers only? I wouldn't be against throwing a takeoff set of 32's on my car for the weekend and cruising around the park to watch the race from multiple spots if that's allowed.

They let people come camp and hang out. Still a gate/camping fee but I think it’s a little discounted if you mention at the gate you’re pit crew for MNR 4531/431 lots of people come ride SXS’s every day but race days. Part of Friday and most of Saturday is shut down for riding.

Me and my crew plan to be there as well. already got two powered sites. Irate meetup?

JR4X enjoyed the detailed recap with breakfast this morning! Quite the accomplishment the team pulled off between racing the race, chasing the race, rebuilding the 431, prepping the 4531, etc! Hats off to everyone involved with that endeavor!

did you old man drive the whole thing?

whats with the water bottle on the driverside on the c pillar, below the belt line?

He did! He and Chuck iron manned the whole thing. Those are insulated water bottles. Like a sealed Yeti with a camel back type hose and mouth piece. It was hot so Chuck got us some hydration stuff to try I’d never heard of before. You start by drinking stuff a couple days out that makes you retain water. Then electrolytes and proteins for the actual event day which we had in those bottles. Then there is some stuff your supposed to drink post even to rehydrate after.

We didn’t do the post stuff, at all. Not one person. We all drank lots of beer and mixed drinks to celebrate 🤣

Seems like y'all got alot of sunshine... :homer:

Was trying to figure out how to get there, but the 25 hour drive kills it during work season.

Serious offer... I can pick you up and drop you off at DFW or Love field if that makes it easier. Fly in Thursday and leave Sunday night or Monday morning. I'm a little over two hours from Crossbar and the airports are both about an hour away.
