Build MNR 4600 class 2021 U4 Bronco

Just out of curiosity, would you run sxs tires on the bronco if it were class legal? Or you think racing would be too much for the lighter sidewall?

I also am curious if anyone will run 35x10.50r17 or 15.

Seems these skinnys are getting more popular. I'm running them in a 17 on my 4runner and like them. I can see why they wouldn't be good for a 4600 rig. Less wieght, scrub radius, track width, ect.

I think my piggy little Bronco would be to heavy for them and that it would be a problem. I couldn’t fit less than a 17 over the brakes and It wouldn’t be possible to modify brakes to fit smaller wheels on the portals.

I have the BFG 35 SXS tires, I would not run them on anything much more than 2500#.

JR4x was the first guy I remember seeing run sxs tires on a suzuki.

I've ran my carnivores on a ~3500 lb 4 door and seen a few xj's running them as well. I think they're more durable than people think. Although I can understand with not running them in 4600.

Yeah the bronco is up to 5,000 ish pounds before me and my co driver get in it. We’re another 470 pounds. I think 5500 pounds and getting hammered on wouldn’t work for even the best sxs tire

Thats what I figured. Although I wouldn't have guessed it was that heavy.

Although I don't see why those sami guys wouldn't be OK with them. Hard to imagine they'd be as hard on them as those guys in can ams doing 4 times the speed.

If I had a samurai it would for sure have SXS tires on it. Those things are 1/2 or less the weight of my current piggy.

I keep meaning to put a set on one of my Lesbarus but I put on so many road miles I just can't justify them over $50 car tires.

The 35 BFG's on Alcoa rims are 52#. If I ever get the Samurai! running, I'll let you know how they hold up.
That’s crazy. My 35’s on raceline 15” beadlocks in the rzr are 63 pounds. That 11 pounds has to mostly wheel

So close to go time. A couple more nights of loading up trucks and trailers and then we leave. Using the bale spears on the Ford Performance tractor to get tires in bulk moved into the semi trailer

last year the 4531 car didn’t quite get the attention it needed because the new build took all the time and resources. This year it got treated right! Brand new 460 CID Windsor from Chuck at RPM engine&machine. Fresh TH400. Hero gone through, axles all the way down to the last bolt and back together. Brand new PSC ram. The little guy got a great prep on it too but the OG bronco is looking new for this year.

Sounds like something you could elaborate on a lil bit more about with specs and cost when yer done with helicopter rides n stuff.
Haul ass man, we pullin fer ya from the North!

460 is big for a W block. The Bronco that runs NORRA has been going through them. Did not have that issue with the 427's. It noped out of the last B1K at RM1007 with a ventilated block.

It’s a dart aluminum block. Been running them at 455 cid for years. We did break a few stock blocks in 421 and 427 cid’s. The dart block and Callie’s crank fixed that.
