    How's my numbers?

There are three main reasons for the difference. The newer calculator take drive and brake bias into account. If you set drive bias to be rwd, the numbers will look more familiar. The way it calculators the antis involves wants it to have the other ends info for CG determination. At least tire...

    How's my numbers?

Antis are might be slightly high. But if your trails are on the wet side, you may not want to go too low. Moving the upper frame up slightly might help get it down and get the IC forward some more. Roll slope is probably okay.

Vehicle prices that make you say WTF?

God must be his wife and praying is probably begging.

    Sunday Night Losers Club!!!!1

In. Did some more garage cleanup this morning. Decided I do not like parts of the new layout, but rain kept me from moving the bigger stuff. Ended up apply for pre-approvals most of the day. Would have taken much less time if my 10 year old printer had not decided to have issues with scanning...

    SpaceX Starship

Probably not. It is a multi story container of rocket fuel falling over.

    Snlc mdw

Maybe at some point before I owned it, but not currently. 95% of the time tying forward is clipping in the front of a kayak.

    Snlc mdw

In. Roommate moved to a different state last weekend. It seems him and I have different definitions of move out. His dad owns the place so he was responsible for upkeep. So I spent most of my week after work getting the yardwork and outside upkeep back under some form of control. Spent the...

Diesel vs gas for a wheeler

Can't say I have wheeled around diesels. But it seems to me that hp is hp. And you gear to have the torque and wheel speed you want. And it seems to me, at least in the U.S., that gas wins in power, weight, parts / upgrade options, and throttle response.

Is there a JK/JL axle bible?

I was talking about the non rubis. I didn't know the carries were interchangeable for the non-rubi. I would have thought that they would have made them slightly different just because. I don't know off the top of my head, but I'm sure there are some oddball lockers for the Dana 44 over the years.

    SpaceX Starship

I wonder if we will see a rule like they have for Mount Everest for a few years. No permission to go up granted unless you bring a certain amount of trash back down with you.

Is there a JK/JL axle bible?

Dumb and pointless thought, but putting it out there to be made fun of anyway. Jk44 guts fit in Dana 44s. So the inverse should also be true. It may open up some oddball locker options.

Is there a JK/JL axle bible?

I think the COG wouldn't take too big of a hit. The heavy chassis stuff isn't moving up. And the extra 2" isn't that significant since it's already not that far from the COG.

    SpaceX Starship

The exponential nature of Kessler syndrome is a real problem. The presence of manned spaceflight beyond low orbit needs to put as much, if not more, priority on space cleanliness like bringing dead satellites back as it does on human presence on the lunar and martian surfaces. A huge problem is...

    Ghetto fab / Hack fab

Eh. It's from the angling of the line. TTB and it's 2wd alternative are just the steering versions of the semi trailing arm desert cars run.

    Ghetto fab / Hack fab

Funny thing is TTBs are one of the easiest ones to get 0 toe change on. Draw a line between the two frame points, put the frame steering point on that line. Other end goes anywhere. Doesn't mean 0 overall though. Too many people view steering as 2d projections instead of as a 3d puzzle.
