Future of KOH 4400 chassis/car development?

:lmao: Beam comments always trigger someone! Interesting. Super tall swingers, it'll be interesting to see them swing and how they react.

Future of KOH 4400 chassis/car development?

Vertical swingers rise at the outer ends of their travel, moving the tie rod out of the optimal range of motion. This can be minimized with long swingers to keep the rise and fall to a minimum.... but that takes a lot of room. Horizontal(-ish) swingers can be made to work almost perfect...

If all the TP companies have mega rolls, those become "regular" rolls, so they'll need to make them even bigger.

The t-cases hold up pretty well. The only ones we see torn up are the AWD cases in the 392s. Yep.... Either truss it or plan on replacing it.

IMO the first gen 3.6 in the JK is a more reliable engine long term than the 2018+ 3.6 (PUG) in the JLs/JTs. The E-Torque 3.6 is fairly rare around here, we don't see too many. Maybe they were all sent to CA for emission reasons?

I like the 3.6 over the 2.0. Yes, the 2.0 is zippy like DMG said, but that's only if it has the E-torque. The problem I see with the 2.0 is they sound like sewing machines once they hit 40K or so and sound like they're going to fall apart. 2.0 has turbo issues, I know a few that have replaced...

We see a few diesels come through time to time. the only one I have any experience with is a JT an old friend of mine has. It's built up with an Alu-cab and all the overland bells and whistles (read that, super heavy and less aerodynamic) and he can pull 23 mpg on the interstate with a tailwind...

We live next to a swamp and have two of those Dynatraps along the back fenceline. Other than having to run a cord along the fence, they work great. I should porobably look into a little solar charger and battery set-up. We have all those herbs you mention in the garden area and around the...
