Alternator puts out higher voltage than either battery, when running that is feeding everything. If the alternator is off and the batteries are tied, the lithium will draw itself down trying to feed the SLA, which...

That was my dad, different symbol but he was 100% in on one. It was great while it was great, dropped roughly a third when he retired and he's been bitter about it ever since :rasta:
